"The setting is perfect - the surroundings are very peaceful with amazing views overlooking the countryside. We arrived to find the place in beautiful condition - the lawn and gardens were immaculate and the house had everything we needed. We were looked after so well by the hosts Cam and Jess - they are very knowledgeable about the area and obviously love doing what they do, as no request was too much trouble for them. They even organised a yoga session for us on the lawn! If you stay here, you must try Jess' cooking - she is incredibly talented and our dinner on the terrace was the highlight of our stay, with dishes cooked from ingredients grown in their garden. They also cooked us the best pizza I can remember having - fresh from the pizza oven!"

"We've just returned from a truly memorable trip to Batchcott Hall. Loads of space with big comfortable bedrooms, cosy living room with a crackling log fire, garden with a trampoline, tennis court and extraordinary views. There's a lovely country pub, the Bottle and Glass, only a mile down the road, and lots of excellent walks up in the nearby hills (ask Campbell, who is full of advice!) Would highly recommend the 3 course meal home-cooked by Jess. We had scallops, sticky toffee pudding and the best venison dish I've ever had - there are plenty of options available too. Delicious and exceptional value!"

"The location provided much needed peace and serenity yet gave access to all we desired with regard to walking and local historic interest.

We were delighted with the Hall which provided space, all the modern facilities and multitudinous choice of sleeping accommodation.

However, all of the above was topped by your in-house catering service that provided both delicious fridge/freezer meals, so welcoming following the day’s exertions, and (the ‘piece de resistance’) a fantastic three course meal for our final holiday supper. The biggest issue was coming to agreement on which dishes, from a great selection, the group were to have."

"We had a fantastic time at Batchcott Hall - it is a stunning place and the outside space is amazing. There were 5 kids in total with us and they all had a great time. A huge flat lawn, with beautiful views, a trampoline, tree house, tennis court, woodland walks and owls at night - what more could they ask for?! Strongly recommend the fridge fillers and the 3 course meals from Jess - delicious food and it really made the break for us as we could have great family meals in the evening with no cooking. Would recommend this very highly for anyone!"
