Rooms
With a small library/entrance room, seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, large living room and large utility, you will not be short of space at Batchcott Hall!
bedrooms
Batchcott Hall is usually set up to accommodate 16 / 17 people, across five double rooms, one twin room and one bunk room (sleeping five). However, if you have specific requirements, whatever these may be, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss the possibility of accommodating you as you wish. For disabled guests, we have a ground floor double room (Bedroom 7).
Bedroom 1 is the Hall’s master bedroom, boasting a huge bay window with stone window frame and far reaching views. The large en-suite bathroom has separate bath and shower, and his-and-hers sinks.
Bedroom 2 is a large twin room, with lovely garden and countryside views. Bedroom 2 shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom (shower only) with Bedroom 3.
Bedroom 3 is a large double, with built-in wardrobe and views across the gardens and out over North Shropshire. Bedroom 3 shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with Bedroom 2.
Bedroom 4 is the largest bedroom, boasting a feature three-piece en-suite bathroom (separate bath and shower) with a portal window in the shower framing the beautiful countryside views.
Bedroom 5 occupies the second floor along with Bedroom 6. With two bunk beds and a single (sleeping five people in total), it is the perfect room for kids, but can also accommodate adults for larger parties. It has it’s own bathroom (shower only).
Bedroom 6 occupies half of the second floor, and features en-suite bathroom (shower only) and original beams and roof timbers. Bedroom 6 is close to the bunk room (Bedroom 5), which is perfect for parents or nannies who need to keep an eye on young children.
Bedroom 7 is a large double room on the ground floor. With its own patio doors opening directly onto the garden and sweeping views across the Shropshire plains, this room is perfect for guests who want to be as close to the garden as possible! Please note, whilst Bedroom 7 is well suited for disabled guests, there is no ground-floor shower or bath (only a loo).
KITCHEN AND DINING ROOM
Whilst we recommend you avoid the kitchen and let us cook for you, for those who prefer to self-cater Batchcott Hall has everything you could need. A fully equipment kitchen, with Aga and large kitchen table will give you plenty of room to prepare your food, whilst enjoying the views across the garden. Adjoining the kitchen is the dining room, with large dining table and log burner.
LIVING ROOM
The main feature of the living room is the large bay window with stone window frame, looking out over the garden and beyond to sweeping countryside. If the views aren’t enough to keep your eyes entertained, there is also a flat screen TV with Sky, and an open fireplace to keep you busy.
