Sitting within the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, not only are the views spectacular, but there is also a wealth of outdoor activities are on the doorstep. With immediate access to the Long Mynd, hiking, mountain biking and fell running are all popular activities locally.

Picturesque Picklescott is nearby (0.5 miles), with the popular Bottle & Glass Inn at its centre - serving good local ales and home-cooked food. Further afield, Church Stretton and Shrewsbury offer more fulsome facilities, including supermarkets. Ludlow is approximately 12 miles away, and offers great options for food enthusiasts, including the Ludlow Food Centre.
